Frequently asked questions
What is Drip Meter?
A subscription tracker for iPhone and Android. You add the services you pay for — from a built-in catalog or by hand — and Drip Meter shows your real monthly total, what renews next, and where the money goes, all in your own currency.
Does Drip Meter connect to my bank?
No. There is no bank login and no card linking. You enter your subscriptions yourself, so Drip Meter never needs access to your accounts and never sees your transactions.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. If you turn on backup, a copy goes to your own iCloud Drive on iPhone or Google Drive on Android — only you and your cloud provider can read it. Drip Meter has no server that holds your subscriptions, so there is nothing for us to see, lose, or sell.
Is it free?
Every install starts with a 30-day free trial of everything. After that, Drip Meter stays free for up to 5 active subscriptions. To track more, you can unlock Pro.
Is Pro a subscription?
No, and that is deliberate. Pro is a single one-time purchase that lifts the limit for good. You pay once — there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. The price is shown in your local currency in the App Store and on Google Play.
Which currencies are supported?
Around 30 — every currency the European Central Bank publishes a daily reference rate for, plus the euro. Each subscription keeps its own currency, and totals convert to your home currency using the ECB’s official daily rates. The currency page has the full list.
Will I be reminded before I am charged?
Yes. Drip Meter schedules reminders on your device a few days before each renewal — you choose how many days. A trial-ending reminder fires too, so a free trial doesn't have to convert without warning. Reminders are local to your phone; there is no push server.
Can I move my data between iPhone and Android?
Yes. Export your data to a single file, send it to your other phone, and import it there — your subscriptions, budgets, and preferences like home currency and reminders come across. A Pro unlock is tied to the store account you bought it from, so that part does not transfer between Apple and Google.
What happens when my trial ends?
Nothing disappears. Everything you added during the trial stays, and you can keep viewing, editing, archiving, and deleting it. The free tier simply caps you at 5 active subscriptions going forward — unlock Pro any time to remove the cap.
How do I get help or a refund?
Email support@dripmeter.me and we will help. App Store refunds are decided and issued by Apple under its own policy. On Google Play, request a refund from Google within the store's refund window; after that, email us your Play order number and, where a refund is due, we issue it through Google Play's own tools.
